Firmness preference depends mainly on sleep position and body weight. Side sleepers generally do best with a softer feel that cushions the shoulders and hips; back and stomach sleepers usually prefer a firmer surface for spinal support. Our hybrid latex-and-pocket-spring construction adapts to your body regardless of position, offering pressure relief without feeling overly soft or overly firm.

Pocket springs are individually wrapped for targeted support and reduced motion transfer; mini springs (used in Saxony) are smaller and more densely packed, giving a more contoured, responsive feel.

Brandenburg and Westphalia use a Cooltex mini pocket spring layer specifically designed for a cooler night's sleep, plus a removable cover for easy washing.

Brandenburg and Westphalia have removable, washable covers. Our other lines have fixed covers — we'd recommend regular airing instead.
